Many years ago, or so it seems we decided to move off-grid. We now provide our own water, electricity and pretty much everything else. While we still have work to do on becoming completely self sufficient we are growing some of our food and raising chickens.
The wood processing and saw milling business seemed a natural for us given our area of residence. All our products are made with sustainable power from solar. The wood processing unit gives us the ability to process not only our firewood but that of others as well as it is mobile. While most of the milling I do is for construction lumber to meet our needs, I love woodworking and make many boards for live edge projects.
